The PRIZM Decision-Capture Tool is an addition to the Method and Tools workshop. 

It works like this:

This is a database and proto-software that allows each team to track the entire process of social innovation, from problem-finding through idea-generation and evaluation. It tracks all important decisions made.

Generally, you need to know what you are looking for, before you find it: think how you do your 'keyword search' in Google. But with our Decision-Capture Tool, you can find things you don't know exist - real answers to questions, without using keywords.

Its a little frightening to see, first up, because nothing is hidden. But don't be put off - that's where the real power is.

Generally, hundreds of ideas and decisions are stored per hour.

Keeping track of all your team decisions means you can:

• justify that all the important issues were actually discussed
• allow teams to revisit important points after the workshop
• teams can add ideas and change direction years after the original decisions were made, if they so wish, without reinventing the wheel, thus saving valuable time and resources.
